About Us
The Bluebird Day Fund (BDF) is a non-profit organization (working on getting our charitable status) based out of Sun Peaks, BC. Started in memory of Bryn Taylor who had passion for many things but in particular snowboarding where he created life-long bonds leaving a love filled legacy. His family and friends have been honoring him for 16 years through BDF holding events that have helped run various charitable programs over the years. Aspiring a diversity of young athletes achieve their dreams. Some of these programs have come full circle and we are seeing previous program participants come back as young adults and volunteer in the programs and inspire joy for nature and sports in the next round of youth.
Programs
100% of our funding and donations go directly to support the youth in our programs, and our organization is fully run by volunteers. Over the years the BDF has had numerous programs including sending kids to camps, freestyle programs, park programs, and partnerships with Big Brothers & Big Sisters and BGCK (Boys and Girls Club of Kamloops). Since partnering with the BGCK of Kamloops we have supported 100's of pairs and counting of 'Bigs' and 'Littles" to ski and snowboard on the slopes. The kids are developing and perfecting skills and benefitting from a positive mentorship connection in the outdoors. The BDF fully covers the cost of passes, equipment, transportation, and meals. We hope to expand the mentorship program into the summer months, and develop other programs. We also operate a reimbursement program for youth athletes, to help pay for expenses related to their respective sports.
Event Information
Last year's "Bluebird Fever " had the room getting their boogie on and we are proud to share with you 2024's Fall Ball... "Old Hollywood Glam." A Glamorous evening to get your dancing shoes on, your hair done and your best red lips.
This will be the 17th annual fall ball event, the event is themed differently each year, host to around 300 guests and typically sells out within 24 hours. This will be our 3rd year in the beautiful Sun Peaks Center.
It is one of
the largest charitable events in
Sun Peaks and always brings out
colourful attire and loving energy
amongst new and old friends alike.
Known for a fantastic night of red carpet
entrances, professional photos, big live
bands, dancing, and mingling.
Held with the support of local businesses in Sun Peaks and
surrounding areas, BDF events such as this brings
awareness to the local community, and its members, about
our various programs and opportunities in the area.
The Fall Ball event will feature opportunities via several
marketing material for businesses and brands to be featured
throughout the event and get recognition for their
contributions. Our social media presence has reached
thousands of people, and within the local Sun Peaks
community.
Ways to
Support Us
There are several ways in which you can support us as an individual or as a Corporation to help hit our target goal of $30,000 so that the many programs that BDF support can continue to grow and thrive. Your contribution will be directly used to help raise funds to support the youth in our programs and allow the BDF to continue its charitable mission and expand its current programs and opportunities within the community.
Depending on how you choose to support us we have various ways in which we acknowledge your contributions, outlined in more detail on the following pages. All donors with be verbally acknowledged on the night of the event as well as on our social media using the hashtags #bluebirdfallball #BDF and any requested hashtags by donor.
Live Auction Items
High Value Items Donated will be indivually auctioned off and on display all night in the Beautiful Sun Peaks Center.
Raffle Prizes
Everyone loves a raffle prize! These items can be anything new, branded promotional items merch, gift cards, etc., Items donated will be individuallyraffed and on display all night in the Beautiful Sun Peaks Center.

Event Sponsor
An event sponsor is an individual or company that is specifically making a donation to help the event take place that night by donating time, and equipment or giving us a discount on their services. Event Sponsors are also those who are generously donating items for the live or silent auction.
Event Sponsors will be honoured via Social Media Appreciation Posts, logos on banners.

Sponsorship Opportunities
PLATINUM
Donations of cash of $3000 or more will be referred to as a Platinum Sponsor throughout the event, and their name/logo will be displayed on Social Media Posters leading up to the event, a banner in the entryway, on banners stands in hallways, tent cards onhigh top tables and on VIP Event Badges. An appreciation post on our social media where we have over a 1k followers as well as Verbal recognition on the night of the event. Also 2x GA ticket will be included to enjoy the evening.
GOLD
Donations of cash of $1500-2999 will be referred to as a Gold Sponsor throughout the event, and their name/logo will be displayed on Social Media Posters leading up to the event, a banner in the entryway, on banner stands in hallways, and tent cards on high top tables. An appreciation post on our social media where we have over a 1k followers as well as Verbal recognition on the night of the event. Also 2x GA ticket will be included to enjoy the evening.
SILVER
Donations of cash of $800-1499 will be referred to as a Silver Sponsor throughout the event, and their name/logo will be displayed on Social Media Posters leading up to the event, a banner in the entryway, on banners stands in hallways, and tent cards on high top tables. An appreciation post on our social media where we have over a 1k followers as well as Verbal recognition on the night of the event. Also 1x GA ticket will be included to enjoy the evening.
